Thorne Colliery Jnrs 4 - Bessacarr 'B' 0 
A very tough and bruising encounter which saw Bessacarr pinned in their own half for almost all of the first half by the end of which they were 2 – 0 down. Bessacarr came out with a bit more purpose in the second half creating a few opportunities which gave the Thorne keeper something to do – sadly for us he was equal to the task making a few very good saves. TD was also kept very busy in the Bessacarr goal and the final score of 4 – 0 could have been much worse if it hadn’t been for some fine goal keeping on his part.
Man of the match given to TD for a number of fine saves throughout the match.
